About Samuel

Samuel S. Saltman is counsel at the firm. His practice focuses on appellate advocacy and complex business litigation, including partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, fraud claims, whistleblower claims, discrimination matters, and workplace matters, among other contract and business tort actions across various industries.

Sam is licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York and is admitted in multiple federal district and appellate courts, including the Third, Second, and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Sam practiced complex business litigation for over six years. Previous accomplishments include being part of a team that won the largest jury verdict in Arizona in 2016, being “on the brief” in a Third Circuit Court of Appeals case that set favorable precedent in a published opinion, as well as briefing and arguing before the Third Circuit in another case that ended in a favorable precedent-setting published opinion. 

 

In law school Sam also interned at the ACLU of Connecticut, the International Institute of Connecticut, and the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney of Connecticut. 

 

​In addition to a law degree, Sam holds a Master’s degree in Global Affairs from Rutgers University-Newark. Sam has taught English Composition as an adjunct professor at Kean University and Fairleigh Dickinson University-Madison, has taught language arts and social studies at multiple learning centers, and has been a copyeditor for an academic journal and a county-wide magazine.
