FIRM HISTORY AND STRUCTURE
Founded in 2018 by Damian L. Albergo, the Albergo Law Group is a boutique litigation law firm that provides its clients big-firm expertise at small-firm prices.
Damian leveraged his network as a partner at Cole Schotz, one of New Jersey’s preeminent big law firms, and vast experience in commercial litigation and business counseling to create a truly unique practice. Ever since, the Albergo Law Group has represented clients big and small, both plaintiffs and defendants, in state, federal, and appellate courts.
After two years of exponential growth, Damian hired Samuel S. Saltman, an experienced litigator who advocates aggressively and writes persuasively, as a senior associate. Soon after, he hired Eddie Laners III, a paralegal who had notably interned under a U.S. Congressman and U.S. Senator here in the state of New Jersey.

Represented a minority shareholder of one of the largest private transportation companies in the world in his efforts to acquire control of the corporation.
Represented minority partners of a joint venture against a large conglomerate of title insurance companies.
Defended a Hudson County condominium developer against fraud and other claims filed by the condominium association seeking millions of dollars in damages.
Defended a New York City condominium developer sued by the condominium association seeking substantial damages.
Represented one of the world’s largest retail distributors of video games and video game systems in a variety of landlord/tenant disputes, leasing disputes and personal injury matters.
Served as lead litigation counsel for EnCap Golf Holdings LLC, a North Jersey golf course and mixed use developer in numerous litigation proceedings.
